This NEIPA sour does exactly what it is supposed to do. Firmly hoppy due to the 5 aroma hops (Centennial, citra, challenger, mosaic and Nelson Sauvin) and nicely sour by using sour yeast. Nice finish of grapefruit.

Recentelijk kon je op Social Media niet om Hertog Jan heen, van Bon Bon’s, tot tafelkleden en zelfs klimaatkoelkasten, maar is het momenteel enkel Vatgerijpt en Grand Prestige wat de klok slaat, of komt Hertog Jan met nog iets anders?

The 3rd beer of Hertog Jan’s Proeftuin is a New England style inspired IPA. With three typical American hops we provide a subtle basic bitterness and by using our own yeast we emphasize the fruitiness of this new beer. This balanced NEIPA is tropical and fruity with a subtle bitterness.

Oops, we canned (and kegged) a New England IPA (NEIPA). Full-flavoured and smooth beer, double dry hopped with large amounts of Citra, Mosaic and Idaho-7. Besides barley we also used wheat and oats for rich smoothness. Enjoy!

Наш новый эксперимент на тему NE IPA. В этот раз мы решили подчеркнуть ароматику хмелей Simcoe Cryo и Mosaic за счет добавления листьев зеленого чая Moli Hua Cha с лепестками жасмина. Это позволило добиться изящного сочетания фруктовых ноток и тонкого цветочного аромата в запахе, а также деликатной терпкости зеленого чая во вкусе.
